In a special effort to promote sports culture among youth in the division the GHMC has launched various initiatives to encourage youth to take up sports for mental and physical fitness. Inaugurating a coaching camp in J.J Nagar colony the GHMC Division President Sri. G. Ramana reddy along with the local corporator Smt.Jyothi Goud inaugurated the summer coaching camp in the playground which was unused for a long time.
Sri Ramana reddy and the corporator distributed sports apparel to the participants in the camp and the corporator has promised to earmark the land for sports activities and ensure that land sharks do not encroach the land various local T.S. leaders also took part in the inaugural ceremony.
