Malkajgiri Excise Department Participate in Haritha Haram – R.K Puram

Defence Colony: Setting an example to sensitize the local community about the deteriorating environmental pollution and greenery in the urban locality the Malkajgiri Excise department visited Neredmet division Ramakrishnapuram under the leadership of the superintendent Mr.K. Pradeep Rao and took part in the Haritha Haram initiative on Friday 16th June 2017 near the lake bed under the R.K. Puram flyover where they planted more than 80 saplings of (Eetha chetlu) which are fast growing and add to the greenery of the region.
The officials urged the local community to safeguard and ensure that these plantations are fully grown the Neredmet division official Mr. Venkatiah, C.I. Mr. Sreenivas Reddy and the local Goud community member took part actively in the Haritha Haram program.
