Around 30 years ago, Mr. Sravan Kumar, a student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, needed a source of income to pay his College fees. He began to earn a little by tutoring school children after his college hours. That was his first ever whiff of the teaching profession, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Fresh out of college, Mr. Sravan opened an educational centre where he began to take tuitions for commerce students. From a humble beginning, he worked his way up the ladder by providing quality education. Most students that studied under his guidance made it a point to continue tuitions with him throughout the duration of their course. As more and more of these young adults continued to ace their examinations, it kept bringing new students to the tuition centre. His business kept expanding in this way, and he can proudly state that he has never found the need to spend money on advertising.
Today, S.K Tutorials caters to around eight batches of students, with 30-40 students per batch studying at the institute on a daily basis. Mr. Sravan believes in quality of education more than anything else, and has hence continued to be the only teacher that gives lectures at his institute. His student base comes from multiple colleges that are spread out all over Secunderabad and Hyderabad.
The academy provides tuitions in accountancy for students of Inter (class 11 and 12), B.Com, M.Com and MBA. Classes are taken for both English as well as Telugu medium courses. The institute is open in the mornings from 7am to 11am. It then reopens in the evenings from 4pm to 7pm.
It is an extremely popular academy for students that are keen on understanding their subjects well. While many other tuition centres around the area have opened and closed, not being able to sustain themselves, S.K Tutorials has been running strong for 27 years, and continues to provide quality education to all of its students.
