SVVK Trust Sannidhanam Vivekananda Nagar, Sainikpuri
The peaceful atmosphere and the regular rituals carried on at “Sri Krishna- Anjaneya-Raghavendra Swamy Sannidhana” located in bharani colony make us feel free of day to day tensions. The trust was built ten yeas back under the patronage of Smt. Sita Shastri who is a devoted and dedicated woman born in Chennai and she donated about 900 squared yards of land and was blessed by his holiness Sri Vishwa Theertha Swamiji and the turst today is managed by Sri Pejavara Adhokshaja Mutt, UDUPI. The donor Smt. Sita Shastri whose husband Sri Rama shastri served the Indian army while she did her post graduation in Library Sciences and worked in the American Embassy and was very keen in dedicating the temple for a veda patashala where young children can pursue vedic studies under the auspices of Sri Poorna sudha Vidyapeeth . In this veda gurukulam young children belonging to brahmin families are taught vedam both Rigvedam and yajurvedam currently there are 25 students and in the first floor. All the festivals in this sannidhanam are celebrated piously with traditional methods very devotedly. Another speciality we can find here in this temple is that any festival they organize here is carried on in line with the actual process that is followed at the origin of that festival. Every year during the vaarshikotsavam in other words the annual day celebrations of the temple is organized on a grand scale with 108 kalasaabhishekam which attracts lot of visitors to the temple who participate in the festivities.
The trust also has EESHA Prasanna Gaushala which is right in front of the temple with few calves and cows which are fed by the Brahmins who perform rituals to their departed souls in their families, a sacred tradition adhered to by all Brahmins in hindu religion. The upcoming festival of subrahmanya shashti is about to be organized with all the formalities in place (naga devata mandapam etc).
