Road Safety Awareness Program Led by Traffic CI Satyanarayana :
The Telangana Police and Hyderabad Traffic Police organized an interactive road safety workshop for children to create awareness about accident prevention and safe travel habits. Traffic CI Satyanarayana sir actively interacted with children and explained important traffic safety rules in a very simple and friendly way. Children learned how to walk safely on roads, cross roads carefully, and travel safely on bikes and in cars. The workshop also explained the importance of wearing helmets, seat belts, and following traffic signals. Police officers encouraged children to become responsible citizens and spread traffic awareness among family members and friends. The session was engaging, educational, and useful for children of all age groups in understanding daily road safety practices.
The workshop also highlighted the major reasons behind road accidents. Human errors like over speeding, mobile phone usage while driving, and careless driving can mainly cause accidents. Natural weather conditions like rain and fog, along with mechanical problems in vehicles, may also lead to accidents. Traffic police explained that helping accident victims is a social responsibility. Children were encouraged to call an ambulance immediately without fear and support injured people as good Samaritans. This awareness program by Telangana Police and Hyderabad Traffic Police successfully taught children about traffic discipline, road safety, accident prevention, and the importance of helping others during emergencies.
