Peoples Welfare Trust is a Social service wing of CITU apart from being a trade Union in order to serve the larger interest of the society the executive body registered a service wing in the name of Peoples Welfare Society. PWT runs three projects the main being a Health camp on every first Sunday of every month and the participants are charged a meager 20 Rs as registration fee the organization also runs a generic Medical Hall in the CITU Office. Recently the organization also conducted Breast cancer awareness program for spreading awareness about the cancer which is wide spread.
Today English both spoken and written has become mandatory for making a career although there are many institutes offering spoken English programs not many people can afford the fees keeping this need in mind this people centered organization has initiated a free spoken English programs for all young students and house wives. It is a great opportunity for all interested people who want to sharpen their spoken English skills.
