Large number of devotees participated in celebrating ShivaParvathula Kalyanam on Monday in Durga Jyothisyalayam Uttamnagar on entering the auspicious Dakshinayana Punyakalam worshiping Lord shiva in the form of Dakshina Murthy Rudranamalu the head priest Sri . Nagaraj Sharma initiated the Kalyanam which went on in a ritualistic manner.
Every month masa Shivaratri is celebrated with special prayers and Homam in the temple. Later annadanam was done by the temple committee in which all the devotees participated.
