The valedictory function of Young Dynamos Club Sumer coaching camp under the aegis of ECIL Welfare Fund Committee concluded on the 25th May 2017 at the ECIL sports complex amidst the presence of hundreds of young children and their parents and members of the pioneering social service organization which aims at empowering the future generations to adapt to healthy lifestyles and groom their personality by pursuing various sports for a healthy and positive lifestyle. Senior Mentor of Young Dynamos club Sri.Chandrashekar who has been instrumental in shaping the careers of many of his students during his stint in Atomic Energy Central School and the guiding force behind the Young Dynamos club addressed the gathering on the occasion and said that parents have to give emphasis on sports also besides academics in order to ensure that the child’s personality is prepared to face any challenges in life. The valedictory function was presided by Sri .S.Sridhar Dy. General Manager ECIL & Chairman ECIL Welfare Fund, Sri. G.P. Phalguna Honorary Secretary Telangana Football Association and Sri. G..Ramesh Secretary ECIL welfare fund. The distinguished guests distributed the participation certificates to all the children who participated in the summer camp. The parents of the children expressed their sincere thanks to YDC for taking up the initiative of grooming their children in various sports under the guidance of expert coaches belonging to YDC.
The main objectives of the club are to take-up initiatives involving youth into constructive activities and inculcate a competitive spirit in them. Fortunately, the strength of YDC is many of its members have represented National and State level in various sports and are in prestigious positions in various organizations and they devote special time to mentor the current generation. In their endeavor to establish a sporting culture over the years YDC has been organizing summer coaching camps in Volleyball, Football, Marathon runs for a cause, physical fitness camps, Basket Ball, and Athletics are some of the events which attract parents living in 4 km radius to bring their wards to the venue for all YDC activities are held in ECIL Sports Complex.
