A humble initiative by a few socially conscious members of the DAE community to nurture young talented generation into sports resulted in what is called Young Dynamo’s Club. A reputed social organization comprising of elite members associated with ECIL & DAE in the year 1990 and with sustained efforts the today this club has grown into a Mutually Aided Credit and Cooperative Society.
The main objectives of the club is to take-up initiatives involving youth into constructive activities and inculcate a competitive spirit in them. Fortunately the strength of YDC is many of its members have represented National and State level in various sports and are in prestigious positions in various organizations and they devote special time to mentor the current generation. In their endeavor to establish a sporting culture over the years YDC has been organizing summer coaching camps in Volleyball, Football, Marathon runs for a cause, physical fitness camps, Basket Ball, and Athletics are some of the events which attract parents living in 4km radius to bring their wards as the venue for all YDC activities are held in ECIL Sports Complex.
On the eve of the silver jubilee celebrations of the club the management committee has decided to release a commemorative souvenir to highlight chronologically the various activities & events taken up during the last two and half decades, also remembering the valuable services of its various members who were instrumental behind the achievements of Young Dynamos Club.
“Healthy body will give rise to healthy mind and healthy soul therefore we shall continue our support to the promotion of sports and games and the effort of Young Dynamos Club in promoting this concept is commendable” says Sri. S Sridhar, Sr. Deputy GM and Chairman, ECIL Welfare Fund Committee in the Valedictory function of the summer coaching camp in sports and games 2016.
The Young Dynamos Club organized free summer coaching camp in Sports and Games for children in the age group of 6 to 13 as part of its annual program for the year 2016-17 at the ECIL Sports Complex Football Ground from the 1st to 21st May 2016 with active support from ECIL Welfare Fund Committee attracted a record number of around 120 boys and girls drawn from the ECIL, NFC and adjoining Colonies. The ECIL Welfare Fund committee extended its whole hearted support for the camp and the sports lovers of the locality pitched in with their contributions.The camp identified around 60 children and all of them will be given advanced training throughout the year under the guidance of the club.The camp concluded on Saturday, 21st May, 2016, with the valedictory function, attended by Sri S. Sridhar, Sr. Deputy General Manager, Sri.G Ramesh, Secretary, ECIL Welfare Fund committee as the Guest of honour,Dr. Ranjiv Chandel, parents, sports enthusiasts participants. All the participants were given certificates for their active participation in the camp. The event evoked tremendous response as parents of the wards are very optimistic that their children will excel in their choosen field if they maintain good spirit and sporting culture under the guidance of such top notch professionals belonging to YDC..
The enthusiasm levels of parents tpwards YDC is tremendous as they are aware that their wards are being trained by International, national, and state levelplayers rendering their services for summer camp who are the products of the very same sports club.

My Son is attending the Summer Coaching Camp in Sports and Games organized by the YDC He plays volleyball for Bhavan’s College Team and has joined this summer camp to enhance his skills says Sunita, the beaming mother of a 17 year old boy and a 12 year old daughter.
My son is also attending the football camp and is very active in sports. It is disappointing that this summer camp is to conclude so soon. My son just began to take interest and learning the techniques of football says Savita
