Water Harvesting Pits program launched in Alwal

The residents of Venkatapuram colony in Alwal extended a helping hand to the GHMC officials in construction work of water harvesting pits in the locality as the monsoon likely to hit anytime from now. GHMC member Smt. Jyothi Goud said that many areas in the Venkata Puram locality are witnessing significant drop as far as the groundwater levels are concerned hence this drive is to increase and motivate people to construct water harvesting pits in all the residential areas.
The program was attended by ward member Mr Bablu, Sri. Premkumar, Sri. Mallesh Goud, Rajesh Goud and Local leaders Sri Balraj, Smt, Pushpalatha, Venkatesh, Rohit, and Sailaja. A good initiative to safeguard the Ecosystem by the residents of Venkatapuram.
