Udayasri Ganapathi Devalayam in APIIC colony in Moulali is a famous temple constructed in the year 1994 by local residents and according to the temple history this was a playing ground for children those days and localites one day found a small vigneshwara idol while children were playing in the sand and this resulted in the local elders equivocally 
deciding to construct a temple and name it as Udaya Ganapathy Devalayam. A core member in the temple committee Late Sri Sadu Rajiah who passed away on 5-3-2015 has contributed immensely to develop the temple right from its inception. Exactly on 6-4-1994 (Swasthisri chandramana Sri mukha nama samwatsaram Phalguna bahula Ekadasi Wednesday 10:28 AM Udayaganapathy idol installation took place in this templ. Like wise on 19-4-2002 morning 9:29 AM (Swasthisri chandramana Sri Chitrabhanu nama samvatsaram chaithra shudda saptami Sri Anjaneya, Navagraha nd Naga Idols were installed amidst vedic rituals.
On Swasthisri chandramana Sri Vyayanama samhatsara Jeshta bahula saptami 18-6-2006 Dhwaja sthamba 
prathistha took place in auspicious muhurtam. In 2006 the temple organizing committee constructed a Yagashala which is given to devotees on rent for performing occasions like thread ceremonies, Homas, Naming ceremonies and samuhika pujas.
In the main entrance devotees get the darshan of Sri Udaysri ganapthy on the left side is Lord shiva idol and towards the right side is Lord Venkateshhwara and Navagrahas apart from a Yagashala this is the only temple where a Lord Adithya temple also exists along with Sri Raja Rajeswari and Abhaya Anjaneya swamy.
Sri K. Venkata Shastri is the head preist in this temple who also happens to be a exponent in Astrology guiding the devotees on remedies related to specific doshas that people experience in their day-to -day life. He performs Nakshatra Japa, Homam, Chandi parayanam and Sundarakanda Parayanam for the welfare of people and ensure that the planetary positions favour all the devotees related to Marriage, success in Occupation, Matching horoscopes for alliances. Every Month on Sankata Chaturdasi in the evening around 6:00 Pm Sri Udaya Ganapathy is appeased by special Panchamrutha Abhishekam which is the major event in the temple which attracts most of the residents in the locality.
