Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Jayanthotsavalu were organized by the temple committee of the Arya Vysya Sangam owned Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari Jayanthi in a grand manner throughout the day lot of devotees turned up to participate in the festival. Special Archana, Alankarana (decorating the Idol) was done followed by special Abhishekalu and women took part in the Kunkumarchana to seek the blessings of the mother goddess.
In the evening the devotees took out a procession of the portrait of the Goddess to various streets. Local Corporator Sri Jagdish Goud attended the event along with the founder members of the temple Sri P. Ramakrishna Rao, Sri. J. Srinivas, Sri Sree Ramulu, Sri Ashok Kumar, Sri Ashok, Sri Prabhu Gupta, and Sri Ravindranath Gupta.
