Relief From Water Woes To Residents Of Malkajgiri – Minister K.T. Rama Rao

The residents of various colonies in Malkajgiri and Sainikpuri are very excited as one of their prime needs access to safe drinking water project is all set to be inaugurated on Friday by Honorable IT Minister Sri K.T. Rama Rao according to sources from Waterworks department who visited the Goutham Nagar Reservoir to finalize the arrangements for the release of water and the project was implemented with a world bank Aid of 338 crores which is going to bring relief to many colonies in Malkajgiri and Sainik Puri.
The project which was taken up with an investment plan of Rs 338 Crores is going to benefit more than 50 thousand people with two reservoirs 1900 Cal ILSR in Sainikpuri and 1600 cal ILSR in Vajpayee Nagar are ready.
According to the Waterworks GM Mr.Sridhar Reddy residents of Ambedkar Nagar, R.K Puram, Vinayak Nagar, Deendayal Nagar, Kakatiya Nagar, Balram Nagar, Bhagat Singh Nagar, and Residents of Banda Cheruvu colony can benefits wherein fresh connections will also be issued according to the officials.
