An experiential insight into a traditional Japanese self care practice, this 3 hour introduction workshop is for anyone curious about Reiki and/or looking for traditional methods to deal with modern stresses.
Reiki, literally translated from Japanese means ‘Universal Life Force Energy’ or ‘Universal Energy – Rei meaning Universal and Ki being energy. It is an energy therapy that works with the body’s own remarkable healing capabilities. It helps to promote and accelerate the natural healing process and restore balance on all levels physical, mental and emotional.
The workshop introduces you to Reiki, its benefits and what you can expect in a Level 1 Usui Reiki workshop. Clarify any questions you have, and gain a better understanding of this amazing healing therapy. The workshop also includes an ‘attunement’ to Reiki where you will be able to experience the Reiki flow through your own hands, sharing Reiki with other participants so that you can experience the wonderful Reiki healing energy flowing through you. Post the workshop, you will have several weeks to play with the energy and see for yourself how healing it is.
It is interactive, calming and a wonderful way to get introduced to a very simple to learn energy therapy that could enable you to take your health and those of your loved ones, to the next level.
Facilitated by Meghna Kamath, an affiliate of the Reiki Centre, Singapore, she teaches the traditional Usui Method which requires no belief, religious bias or spiritual background. Her approach is grounded and thorough.
