Lions Club ECIL – Elite Launch Helping Hands Donation Box A CSR Initiative of ZoneAdds Near Kushaiguda Police Station.

Helping Hands “Donation Box” A novel initiative by Zone info Media supported by Lions Club ECIL – Elite was launched in a conspicous spot in front of Kushaiguda Police Station where on average atlease more than a million cannot pass by without having a glance at this uniue Box. The prime objective behind this initiative is to evoke community response on sensitive issues like Health, poverty, Concern for the Under Previleged who require a helping hand from the larger society. In his words the principal architect of this initiative Mr. S.Kushal Shares that “manier times we come across people who want to donate un-sed items in their house to the needy based on our earlier experiences we thought of having a point which will act as a sensitizing agent to the society” he concluded which resulted in installing the box after deliberating the installation process with government bodies like the Kushaiguda police and the Lions Club ECIL – Elite who supported the initiative as it is meant for a cause.
It was on 27th January 2017 ECIL Hyderabad: The Lions Club ECIL–Elite District Governor Lion Dr.SunainaAminha, Mjf inaugurated the Helping Hands Donation Box a novel initiative to evoke community response to extend support to the needy near the Kushaiguda Police station. The Launching ceremony also saw the presence of ACP Mr.Syed Rafeeq and SHO Mr. N.VenkataRamana. Speaking on the Occasion Dr. Sunaina Aminaha said that Lions Club ECIL – Elite over the last decade has initiated various services by adopting government schools, Organizing Health camps, Community legacy programs, Youth empowerment and Environmental awareness programs for the welfare of the society. Former Governor Lion Prabhakar,mjf Lion B.Venkateswar Rao 1st Vice District Governor, President Lion Raghu Babu, Secretary Lion Chandra Shekar, District Secretary PST forum Ravindranath Gupta and District Secretary RC/ZC Lion Krishnamurthy addressed the gathering by highlighting the objectives of the Donation Box and the meaningful purpose the initiative aims to address by mobilizing resources which will be routed to the needy. ACP Mr. Syed Rafeeq appreciated the initiative and said that their department would extend their maximum support as it is a service oriented activity. SHO Mr.N.VenkataRamana said that their department would extend support in the initiative and extend support to Zone Adds the Implementation Partner in this initiative.
Zone Adds which is the implementation partner in this initiative as part of its CSR Initiative has been successful in generating community response with its campaign “Donate Un-used medicines” since May 2015. In the past one and half year the campaign was aggressively done in Print and social media which evoked tremendous response from public. We have been successful in mobilizing medicines from voluntary donors who routed their surplus medicines.
All the gathered medicines are distributed in the health camps in collaboration with Lions club ECIL -Elite who distribute them free of cost to the needy. We appeal to all interested and service oriented people to spread the message and extend your possible support in making the campaign a movement.
To take this initiative to the next level the project implementation would be done in the capacity of a nodal organization supporting and facilitating various NGO’s working for the Welfare of Orphan Children, Aged Care, Public Health, Education, & Welfare of the Mentally challenged children.
As part of this project we are launching a Novel campaign in the form of a “Donation Box” with a view to help the needy. We earnestly appeal to all the members of the society to donate Un-used medicines, Un-used toys, Clothes, Books, stationery, and any other utilities which will reach the needy through this initiative.
We look forward for voluntary donors to extend support and make this unique project to reach the needy.
