Organizing health camps in slum communities is highly appreciable said Jawahar Nagar Inspector Sri Uma Maheshwara Rao who was invited to be the chief guest to the health camp initiated by Light of Gospel Ministries, Shalom Of Hope Foundation in YSR Nagar community in Jawahar Nagar on 13th June 2017. He also reiterated that NGO’s should focus their activities in such places where there are maximum poor households. Sarpanch Mallesh and Deputy Sarpanch Reddyshetty Srinivas said that with the rainy season fast approaching people living in such low-lying areas should be extra vigilant of various water borne diseases which rise suddenly in this areas and they are doing their best by coordinating with the GHMC officials in taking proactive measures to avert such outbreaks.
More than 200 patients were given necessary treatment in the camp which was also attended by Ex- Serviceman and BJP Village Advisory Committee Representative Mr. Emmanuel, TRS District Leader Mr. Rajashekar, TRS Ward Members Mr. Shivaji , Mr. Daniel, Mr. George Mulgaram, Mr. O.Y. Ratnam, Mr. Vidya Sagar and C.H. Ashok who took part in this initiative
