Summer holidays are the best time to explore new avenues, to learn beyond the curriculum and to have fun. Summer camps offer all this and more. Camp d’été-The French summer camp being held by Ms. Caroline at Our Sacred Space from 8th May to 20th May 2017 opens up a new door to the world for the students.
The 2-week introductory course offers a taste of French for those who wish to learn the language but have not had the opportunity or who are afraid of making a wrong academic decision. The camp covers a basic level in French wherein the students learn the pronunciations, simple sentences to communicate and introduction to French grammar. The students would be involved in many fun games & activities for every lesson. The singing session is a hit with all the kids every day as they learn a new song based on the day’s lesson.
“I didn’t go anywhere for the holidays so I joined the summer camp because I want to change my second language to French later. I love the action songs and games. We learned nursery rhymes in French and also songs from the movie Frozen. I’m eager to learn French in school now” says Chris, a 10 years old student from Meridian School.
