Candle Light March – A Walk Against Terrorism :
Terrorism is like a dangerous insect that silently eats away the peace and safety of our society. Recently, a heartbreaking terrorist attack happened in Pahalgam, Kashmir, where innocent Hindu tourists were gunned down. They had come for a peaceful visit but lost their lives to senseless violence. Among the victims was Indian Navy Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who was on a family tour. His tragic death is a painful reminder that terrorism doesn’t spare even those who serve our nation. It is truly unfortunate that such lives, full of dreams and service, were taken away by terrorism.
To show support and raise awareness, the Green Hills Colony Welfare Association in Hyderabad organized a Candle Light March on 27th April 2025 (Sunday) at 6 PM. This “Walk Against Terrorism” gathered people from all walks of life, standing in unity and solidarity with the victims of the Pahalgam attack. The event aimed to spread the message of peace and the need to stay united against terrorism. Such community efforts are important in building awareness and pushing back against the fear that terrorists try to create. Let us all join hands to support peace and stand strong as a nation.
