P Omkara Koundinya, a determined young para cyclist, made Telangana proud by winning the bronze medal at the 1st Para National Cycling Road Championship held on March 29th and 30th, 2025, at the ORR Medchal Service Road, Hyderabad. Organized by the Telangana Cycling Association under the guidance of the Cycling Federation of India (CFI), this event marked a new milestone in para sports. Omkara, who faces challenges due to autism, showed extraordinary strength and willpower to achieve this national-level victory. His achievement is a symbol of what is possible with dedication, support, and strong belief. P Omkara Koundinya received training under the mentorship of Dr. Maxwell Trevor, whose initiative, Cycling Inspiration, runs the Dr. Maxwell Trevor Cycling Welfare Association and Academy.

With consistent training sessions and expert guidance, Vijaybhaskar helped Omkara gain confidence, improve his skills, and prepare for high-level competitions.
