MNJ Institute of Oncology and Regional Cancer Centre is established very long back by Nawab Mehdi Nawaj Jung. This research institute was inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in the year 1955. This autonomous institution has organized numerous health awareness camps in addition to academic sessions that promote social consciousness in the community. Some of the departments & services available at the institute are Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Radiology, Palliative Medicine, and Molecular Oncology. In present situation Cancer Screening is very important for an average Indian to take all necessary precautions tests and measures. For a woman has to undergo Mammaogram test which is a breast screening method where it can predict and detect cancer at early stage.
