People from all age groups—children, youth, adults, and elders—are participating in awareness drives, cleanliness campaigns, and lake protection activities. The Kapra Lake Festivals Group plays an important role by connecting environmental awareness with cultural events, encouraging families to respect and protect the lake. Volunteers educate the public about the dangers of dumping garbage and releasing untreated sewage into water bodies. An important eco-friendly initiative is biological fencing using native plants around the lake boundary. Colony-level STPs treat wastewater at the source and stop untreated sewage from entering lakes. Treated water can be reused for gardening and flushing.
